Exploring the city with Adidas NMD

As 2015 came to a close, we capped off the year with an amazing collaboration with Adidas Philippines. Wanting to introduce their new Adidas NMD sneakers to the online community, we were called to produce a series of 15-second videos for online release. We shot 4 influencers – David Guison, Kryz Uy, Trasienne Estrada, Michael Concepcion – as they explored Manila and tapped into their inner nomad.

For each influencer we did 2 types of videos – one Unboxing video, which features the model receiving their Adidas NMD package via drone, and one Mood video, which follows our talent as they traverse the city with their brand new NMDs. The Unboxing video was both a challenge and a thrill to do, as we’d never really attempted to deliver items via drone before. Meanwhile, the Mood video got us on our feet as we searched the city for the best backdrops that fit the gritty, urban vibe we wanted to achieve.

Given that our influencers have their own personal styles and brands to maintain, we tried to make sure that each of their videos were fine tuned to their particular interests and personalities. Hopefully, when they shared the videos on their online channels, there wasn’t much of a disconnect between the video and their style.

This is our third time working with Adidas and it’s pretty easy to say that collaborating with them is always a fun and interesting experience. We look forward to more opportunities to work with them in the future.

In the meantime, we’re happy with the overall look of our videos and we like to believe that fans of the brand received them well too. We’d like to attribute most of that to our great talents though, as well as to the awesome NMDs, which we’ve been dying to get for ourselves too.
